GQ's editors reveal their winter grooming secrets
GQ
Angelo Mitakos, Junior Fashion Editor of GQ
"When it comes to winter grooming I try and keep my routine as organic and natural as possible. One of my main go-to's is Dr Jackson's Everyday Oil. I add a couple of drops three or four times a week to my facial moisturiser when my skin is feeling extra dry. It's lightweight, so it doesn't have that greasy, clogging feeling to it and is infused with baobab oil that promotes elasticity in the skin."

"I found these guys while perusing Space NK. They are a science-led brand and as well as producing skincare, they also sell herbal teas. I have only recently found out that the product I have been using as a moisturiser for over a year is actually a toning gel. This essence is so gentle on my skin...
STAFF PICKS: OUR SECRET GROOMING WEAPONS

If I were stranded on a desert island and could take with me only one grooming weapon, I would choose an oil I could use everywhere. This one by Dr Jackson’s is made in the UK and packed with vitamin C and antioxidants. I use it on my beard, on my skin (in the evening after serum and moisturiser), on my cuticles and on my scalp. It’s also made from 100 per cent plant-based ingredients. Baobab is a great defence against dry skin (sea water can be particularly drying) while Marula nut oil is an amazing hydrator.

They [Dr Jackson’s] really embody everything we believe in. They are sustainable, they are non-toxic, they are all-natural and not tested on animals. This is the ‘I Trust You’ brand. When we’re looking to certify brands, it is exactly this, they are hitting every single one of our new earth rules. I’m just so excited, I’m so happy that we found them and that they came into our lives.

Founded by a scientist, Dr Jackson’s combines science-led products with natural ingredients – all packaged in minimalist, lab-inspired bottles and jars. It contains marula, mandarin and lemon oils to moisturise while dissolving dirt, plus fatty acid-packed baobab, and pomegranate to provide light, natural exfoliation, rounded off with calming chamomile. A real powerhouse combination, skin is left softened, plumped and clean.
